Second Grade is having a blast!
Please remember that students should log on to iReady.com for 20 minutes each day. There are also reading and math games to be found on launchpad.ocps.net. Join your children in some of these games and enjoy the fun with them. Playing and reading with your children is a very effective way for a parent to bond, and increase the mental, social, and emotional development of his/her children.
Between April and May, 2nd graders will be doing DRA and FAIR tests. Also the ELL students will be taking the CELLA. Parents, kindly make sure your children come to school well rested with a good breakfast from home, or be on time to have breakfast at school so the children can be at their optimum when being tested.
