Hello from the Ridgewood Park Science Team!
Our science lab is designed to offer hands-on activities that coordinate with the science curriculum taught by teachers in the classroom. Teachers utilize the science text and workbooks to engage the children’s background knowledge and introduce new vocabulary\concepts. At least once per week, we incorporate science lab hands-on activities to tie in the new learned concepts. Students work in cooperative groups and collaborate with each other to conduct experiments, find scientific solutions for everyday situations, and expand upon things already learned. We think SCIENCE IS FUN!!!
